Order From Chaos/Stillbirth Machine/Decapitated Records/1993 CD Review

Order From Chaos where  a band from Kansas City, Missouri that also included a member of Angelcorpse/Revenge that played a style that I would describe as a blackened death/thrash and this is a review of their 1993 album "Stillbirth Machine" which was released by Decapitated Records.

Drums are mostly fast with a lot of blast beats, while the bass guitar has a very distorted tone with a lot of fast riffs.

Rhythm guitars are very fast blackened death/thrash riffs while the lead guitars are very noisy and chaotic guitar solos that where very brutal for the time period this album was released.

Vocals are mostly high pitched black/death metal screams that are also very heavily influenced by thrash with some deep death metal growls being used at times, while the lyrics are very philosophical and talk about the ignorance of mankind, as for the production on this recording which was recorded and mixed during the summer and fall of 1991 at The Second Factory in Olathe, Kansas it has a very raw and heavy feel to it.

In my personal opinion Order From Chaos where a very good band that was very influential and if you are a fan of classic blackened death/thrash you should check this band out. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Edge Forever" "Iconoclasm Conquest" and "Stillbirth Machine". RECOMMENDED BUY.
